Little is known about M. del Giglio, except that he created art for various spanking novels in the early 1900s. Below are his illustrations from the 1908 novel Éducation Anglaise (An English Education) by Lord Kidrodstock.
Éducation Anglaise was republished in 1924 with illustrations by Georges Topfer.

Some have suggested that his (probably male) illustrations are similar to C.Helsey who also produced illustrations for similar novels in the same period. Both are, of course, pseudonyms. Reference: a copy of ‘Les Humiliations de Miss Madge’ by Aimé Van Rod.
That is most intriguing, David, thank you so much for informing me, as otherwise I do not believe I would have associated the different illustrations as having been sketched by the same artist.
Isn’t that what is so lovely about the world of vintage spanking art – it’s quite the mystery!
Although perhaps mistakenly, I had always assumed Del Giglio had created the first edition images of “Education Anglaise” and Georges Topfer created the artwork for a subsequent edition. I could easily be mistaken!
